Bonjour Ruby Red!Deeper than the Med’s blues are its Ruby Red grapefruits.From the idyllic Corsica, we handpick the ripest Ruby Reds ready for distilling.Ruby-red The hero of this complex aperitif is the Ruby Red Grapefruit, responsible for its sweetly bitter disposition.Distilled three ways• Our grapefruits are halved and macerated at length until full extraction occurs.
• To enhance the natural citrus aromas, fresh peels are macerated and distilled in copper.
• Our rubies are pressed and reduced until they become a deep, velvety red.
Citrus infused: Infused with the highest quality citrus peels, sourced from around the world including dried Yuzu, Cedrat and Bigarade.Blended with Botanicals: Batches are blended with Cinchona tree bark quinine, natural Gentian bitters and our signature Eau-de-Vie, made from grapes that have been fermented and distilled through column stills.Refined in Cognac: Pampelle is refined on the banks of the River Charente in Cognac where every bottle is stamped with the seal of a Damselfly, a protected native species.Bitter-sweet but not sugary: Pampelle is naturally lower in sugar and best enjoyed chilled.The result, an artisanal contradiction of bitter-sweet citrus & natural botanicals and Eau de Vie. Spritz yourself in Ruby RedIngredients2 parts Pampelle3 parts Prosecco1 part Soda Water Into a large wine glass add plenty of ice.Pour in the measured ingredients and give a slight stir.Garnish with a slice of Ruby Red Grapefruit.
Pink looks good on youIngredients1 part Pampelle3 parts Dry Rosé1 part Soda WaterInto a large wine glass add plenty of ice.Pour in the measured ingredients and give a slight stir.Garnish with a wedge of Ruby Red Grapefruit.
A twist on the classicIngredients1 part Pampelle1 part Gin1 part Vermouth Blanc (sweet)Take a tumbler or rocks glass and fill with ice.Pour in the measured ingredients and give a slight stir.Cut a swathe of Ruby Red Grapefruit peel and twist over the drink then garnish inside glass.
It’s forbidden. So naturallyIngredients1 part Pampelle1 1/2 parts Dry Gin1 part Ruby Red Grapefruit juicePour ingredients into a shaker over ice.Shake then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.Serve with a small slice of Ruby Red Grapefruit.
